NFT rewards from STARBUCKS on Polygon

The coffee giant Starbucks decided to join other big companies who tried out the crypto world. 

After fashion brands announced they accept crypto payments, Starbucks plans on creating a series of NFTs as digital collectables on Polygon blockchain.

The Starbucks Odyssey program will sell limited edition NFTs and give away NFT stamps to customers and employees.

The digital stamps can unlock perks like exclusive merch, private events or even trips to their coffee farm in Costa Rica.

So, the next time you are buying your coffee from Starbucks, you may be asked : “Do you want NFT with your Latte?”

Starbucks has been doing research on Web3 for quite some time now and decided to go with the Polygon network because it's cheaper and has low energy costs. Also, other giants like Coca-Cola, Reddit or even Disney prefere Polygon.
